[DATABASE SCENES RECORD 79] - Close record
A very damaged viticulture scene shows the grape harvest and filling the wine jars. Two workmen are picking the grapes from a vine pergola; the lower part of the scene is completely destroyed. The grape leaves have four lobes, which is typical of the Ramesside Period, but also found during the Eighteenth Dynasty. A man is carrying a basket full of grapes, probably to the wine press. Eight wine jars are standing at the end of the scene (only the lower part can be seen) and a man standing beside them is probably filling the jars with the must. This scenes was unpublished.
